The list is based on what 10,000 people have sent in for wishes to Blocket during the Swedish used site’s competition where participants could win a dream car for half a million kroner.

The list of used dream cars on Blocket consists to a large extent of Swedish cars.

10. Tesla Model Y

In tenth place is the only electric car on the list – a Tesla Model Y. It has been a huge success story for the American brand.

9. Porsche 911

Another German favorite is the Porsche 911. For half a million you get a 911 Carrera Sa of generation 997. The 911 is considered by us to be the best everyday sports car, something several seem to have discovered.

8. Audi A6

In eighth place is the Audi A6, a German premium car of which there are over 60,000 registered in Sweden. In Blocket’s case in particular, it is an Audi A6 with a diesel unit that is the most sought after.

7. BMW M2

Another sportier entry on the list is the BMW M2, one of our favorite sports cars. This applies especially to the generation in question – the previous one – which even today stands as one of the German brand’s best cars.

6. Mercedes-AMG C 63 S

In sixth place is the Mercedes-AMG C 63 power package. The V8-equipped combination can be had for under half a million on the Block and has been one of the most popular options. The question is how much the car costs to own…

5. Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang is the only non-Swedish option on the list. In line with the original philosophy of the American muscle car, several options are offered on the Block, all at a reasonable price.

4. Volvo V60

Sweden’s best-selling car in 2020 is spelled Volvo V60. Its popularity is also reflected in the used listings. It is teeming with contestants who had chosen a Volvo V60.

1. Volvo XC90

In first place we find a popular model that has recently been updated – the flagship Volvo XC90. If a high percentage of the 10,000 contestants get to choose, it will be the XC90 for all the money.

A predictable list

The cars on the list undeniably show that most people want a car that is suitable for everyday use, with the exception of the Ford Mustang.
