The US Senate will on Wednesday vote on how to stand on Sweden and Finland’s NATO applications, Reuters reports, citing Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
The vote will be preceded by a debate starting at 19.30, Swedish time.
A number of Republican members have announced that they intend to vote no, but otherwise support for a yes vote is strong among the two parties’ representatives in both chambers.
