The Dow Jones is up 0.4 percent at the opening, while the Nasdaq is up 0.7 percent.
Stock markets rallied on Wednesday after US inflation, which has been high for a longer period than in Europe, came in lower than expected in July and showed an annual rate of 8.5 percent. A fall from 9.1 percent in June.
Cryptocurrencies have also seen a steady rise during the week, but bitcoin is now down 1.6 percent.
