The US State Department is offering roughly SEK 54 million to anyone who can provide tips that lead to the arrest of a Swedish man who is internationally wanted for several crimes. This is written by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.

The Swedish man was important when the FBI managed to spread its own chat service Anom in criminal networks. The Swede was tricked by the Americans and sold phones with Anom installed to several criminal gangs. Through the chat service, American and Swedish police could read what criminals wrote to each other, and in Sweden the Anom chats led to the arrest of 155 people.

The US State Department writes that the reward is announced jointly with the Swedish Police Agency.

The man is internationally wanted on suspicion of trafficking, drug smuggling and money laundering.
