The US will prioritize sending air defense robots to Ukraine, the White House announces. Ukraine will receive the deliveries before other countries that have placed orders.

– The US government has made the difficult but necessary decision to reprioritize planned deliveries in the short term. . . of especially Patriot and Nasams robots, so that they go to Ukraine instead, says John Kirby, spokesman for the United States Security Council.

Deliveries to Taiwan and Israel will not be affected by the decision, Kirby announced.

In April, US President Joe Biden signed a bill to send a support package of close to 61 billion dollars to Ukraine, something that Kiev has been waiting for since last fall.

For a long time during the war, Ukraine has said that the country is in great need of, among other things, the Patriot air defense system.
