The United States made little reduction in its greenhouse gas emissions last year. According to a first estimate, they fell by only 0.2% in 2024 compared to 2023. This projection removes the United States from its trajectory, even before the entry into office, on January 20, of Donald Trump, defender of fossil fuels.
