The United States has destroyed Houthi fighter jets in Yemen and the Gulf of Aden, the country’s military said.
The United States and Britain have continuously struck Yemen to prevent the Houthis from attacking cargo ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
The Houthis launched the attacks in November to support the Gazans in their war against Israel. Due to the attacks, the high insurance premiums in the maritime area have caused several shipping companies to reroute their ships through the southern tip of Africa.
