The United States won 5–2 when the Finnish junior hockey team played its last practice match before the World Cup tournament starting on Friday. Finland scored both goals in the match Kasper Halttunen.
Started as Finland’s goalkeeper in the match Noa Valiwho was replaced after two sets off the goal. Substituted at the end of the final Kim Saarinen blocked all eight of the US shots.
After the match played in Cornwall, the Finnish team traveled to Ottawa, the capital of Canada, which is the venue for this year’s World Cup. An attacker will join the Finnish team in Ottawa Konsta Heleniusin addition to which one attacker is sent home.
Finland had beaten Slovakia 6–0 in the previous training match.
Finland will face Canada, the host country of the Games, in its opening match on Friday.
