The United Arab Emirates will host COP28 next November. The 8th oil-exporting country announced today that it is improving its commitments made in 2015 during the Paris Agreement. The initial target of reducing its CO2 emissions by 31% by 2030 has been revised upwards and on top of that, the Emirates have also presented a grand plan to become a leader in the hydrogen industry.
