During Friday, the leader of the Vårby network was sentenced for threatening an official against an employee at Hall in Södertälje. According to the verdict, he allegedly threatened to send someone outside the walls to the correctional officer’s home.
Christer Hallkvist, chairman of the trade union Seko kriminalvård, is not surprised by what happened. He thinks it is an important mark that the incident led to a conviction.
– The most important thing is not the length of the sentence, but that there was a conviction regarding threats to the staff, he says.
