Twitch streamer group OTK is teaming up with a developer studio. Under the title “Project Honor” they announce their own action RPG.

OTK are creating their own online RPG with Project Honor. Their ideas are being implemented by Notorious Studios, a small studio that includes former WoW developers Chris Kaleki and Douglas Frazer. They named the studio after their WoW guild.

Who are OTK? The acronym stands for One True King. It’s a group of Twitch streamers, most of whom are related to MMORPGs of the likes of WoW, Final Fantasy XIV or Lost Ark. They include, for example, Asmongold, Mizkif and tipsoutbaby. They occasionally work together, develop common formats and support each other.

The group announced their partnership with Notorious Studios 7 months earlier. In a summer 2022 video, tipsoutbaby announces that they are working side-by-side with developers to create Project Honor. That was when the RPG was first introduced.

On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, Notorious Studios will have their say in a new video. They present screenshots from the RPG and announce a playtest.

Project Honor will be an RPG on Unreal Engine 5

What kind of game is this? According to the developers, Project Honor will be a classic online action RPG in which you can play solo or with friends. According to the website, the studio uses Unreal Engine 5 to develop “beautiful worlds filled with mystery and danger”.

This content is provided by Project Honor:

  • PvE content such as dungeons
  • PvP in the open world
  • You collect loot and resources to equip your character.
  • It relies on typical classes such as mages, warriors and priests, but should have unique gameplay.
  • The combat system should be action-packed and deviate from the classic RPG combat system.
  • Players view the game from a 3rd person perspective.

    However, Notorious Studios emphasizes that the RPG is in an early stage, which is why everything could change again before the release. By the way, there is currently no date for the publication. They are currently looking for players for their playtest, which is why you can sign up for them on the website. There is no date here either.
