Black Adam scene was first filmed without Henry Cavill

As Lawrence Sher recounts, the Henry Cavill’s appearance filmed after the fact and then inserted into the credits scene. Dwayne Johnson first filmed the big DC moment without the Superman star.

As Sher says, director Jaume Collet-Serra left the scene on the final day of post-shooting in about 10 minutes film. For this, The Rock played with a Superman double and a version of John Williams’ Superman theme, which the team found and used via Google.

In this version was not seeing the face of the Superman double, only the emblem on the chest. However, the scene was so well received in test screenings that the team was keen to bring Cavill back.

The true Superman star’s performance was filmed in London after the deal was struck. Lawrence Sher worked from home for the moment, since he was not able to travel to Great Britain. Both sections were finally merged in post-production to give the impression of a common scene.
