The alarm to the rescue service about a train accident just east of Uddevalla came at 08.30 on Monday morning.
– It’s a serious accident, where the truck is torn in two, says operations leader Hans Åke Oscarsson.
The rescue service’s operation at the scene has now ended. According to witnesses, the truck was stuck on the track between the barriers.
– Why it stopped right there, I have no idea at this point, says Hans Åke Oscarsson.
