Two SHL clubs are now settling for Tre Kronor forward Leon Bristedt.

A few weeks ago, the sad news came for the Swedish national team star Leon Bristedt. Swiss big club Davos announced that he is forced to leave and will not receive an extended contract.

But the forward is also highly interested in a return to the SHL again and has already been in contact with two different clubs. The Tre Kronor player now confirms which clubs it is about.
– There are two teams that I have spoken to and they are Rögle and Linköping. Where I end up later can be left unsaid. I keep all doors open, he says in the interview.

Bristedt’s words

LHC seems the hottest and sees Leon Bristedt as a dream signing. Therefore, they have offered a very lucrative contract and promised a bigger role in the team, according to information.
– We have had ongoing contact for two years. LHC has been very professional and visited me twice in Switzerland, says the 29-year-old.

This season there were 25 points in 39 games for Bristedt in Davos. In the playoffs, he then accounted for six points in seven games before Davos went out against Lausanne in the quarterfinals.

Bristedt has a past with both SHL clubs and played junior hockey for Linköping HC before moving to North America for college hockey. Then it was Rögle BK when he returned to Sweden again and four seasons as a key player.
