Anders Weiderstål is a true legend within Tre Kronor.
“Pudding” was the material manager for a full 35 years for the Swedish national team.
Now he names his dream five of all the players he has worked with in blue and yellow.
Already in 1984 stepped Anders Weiderstål into Tre Kronor and since then he has been part of that mess. Everyone knows him much better as “Pudding” and it was a full 35 years as material manager in the Swedish national hockey team.
Pudding in Three Crowns
With Pudding in the dressing room, there were a total of eight WC golds and two Olympic golds and 28 medals in total. He is called “Mr. Tre Kronor” for a reason and has taken care of so many great national team players over the years.

Now he himself gets the chance to appoint the very best players in Tre Kronor by revealing his absolute dream five in blue and yellow. The legendary material manager is a guest on Viaplay’s hockey program “Goodmorning NHL” and gives his answer, see the video below.
Designate the dream five
Among the thousands of national team players that Weiderstål has seen pass by, he chooses Henrik Lundqvist in goal.
– It is not possible to round Henrik Lundqvist. We have had many good goalkeepers throughout the ages but what he has meant. He was always first and last in the dressing room and so incredibly careful with the details. It was nothing by chance, he says in the interview.

Afterwards, a backing duo follows along Nicklas Lidström and the deceased Börje Salming.
– Börje was incredibly big the first time I was involved. So caring, an incredible person and an incredible hockey player. He was rock hard, says Pudding.
Anders Weiderstål then chooses a front trio consisting of Mats Sundin, Peter Forsberg and a certain Henrik Zetterberg.
– “Sudden” was a fantastic guy to work with, a real competitive person, he says and justifies his choice.
– There were any number of people there. “Zäta” was always good in Tre Kronor, always performed and a good guy to work with.
