Horror or thriller? Nicolas Cage remains a mystery as a serial killer
Longlegs revolves around FBI agent Lee Harker (Maika Monroe), which follows the bloody trail of a serial killer (Cage). Several families have already fallen victim to him and his occult practices. Harker has a personal connection to him and must stop him before he massacres new victims.
The trailer leaves it open whether Longlegs is supernatural horror or a straight-up thriller. Cage’s character is only seen very briefly. Nevertheless, the video conveys an extremely disturbing atmosphere. Fans will hopefully be able to decide this year whether it can compete with the atmosphere of The Silence of the Lambs.
When will Longlegs with Nicolas Cage be released in cinemas?
Longlegs will be released in the USA on July 12, 2024. A German start date has not yet been set. The film has also found distribution in this country and could theoretically Summer 2024 also be published by us.
