An explosion occurred yesterday evening in a fuel depot in Khankendi city of the Karabakh region, where the Armenian population continues to separate from Azerbaijan. Stating that the bodies of 125 people who lost their lives in the explosion were brought to Armenia, Avanesyan said that the identities of those who lost their lives were being determined. According to initial reports, 290 people were injured in the explosion in Khankendi, and the condition of the injured was stated to be critical.

Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that 15 fire trucks were sent to the region for intervention. In the statement, it was stated that the fire was extinguished thanks to the devoted work of Azerbaijani fire brigades.
