There have been rumors for months that leading Twitch streamer Caedrel is planning his own team in League of Legends. The squad for 2025 has now been determined. It’s not Perkz and Jankos, but big and well-known names from the European LoL scene are in the team, like Nemesis and Rekkles.
This is the situations: Months ago, the leading streamer for LoL on Twitch, Caedrel, thought about building a team of influencers with strong gaming skills and thus competing in the Northern European regional league of LoL, the NCL. That would certainly give the scene a huge boost in attention and provide delicious content for the influencers.
Possible candidates for the team that became known as “Los Ratones” (The Mice) have been circulating for months. The streamers TheBausFFS, Nemesis and Caedrel themselves were apparently supposed to serve as the “foundation”.
Now it’s November 15th. introduced the squad and some surprises came true. But others don’t.
“Agurin” is considered one of the strongest gaming influencers in LoL. He is part of the German influencer team NNO:
Who plays for Los Ratones?
“TheBausFFS” (25), a well-known streamer and top laner who only played Sion for a long time, will compete in the top lane.
The Serb “Velja” (22) plays in the jungle. This is a relatively unknown player who has appeared in LoL teams off and on since 2019, but hasn’t stayed anywhere for long.
Nemesis (25) plays in the midlane. This is a seasoned professional who impressed at Mad Lions and Fnatic from 2017 to 2020. The Serb is now a big streamer on Twitch.
The 26-year-old Slovenian Crownie, who has been under contract with Team BDS and Team Vitality for the last few years, plays as ADC.
And as it became clear yesterday, star player Martin “Rekkles” Larsson will be the supporter. He just became world champion.
Who is not on the team? It was actually thought that Caedrel himself would play, but he will act as coach and founder.
There were also names like Jankos and Perkz circulating, but they now seem to have finally fallen apart.
Caedrel wants to give something back to the scene and make young junglers a star
This is what Caedrel says: In a video on YouTube, Caedrel says they wanted to build a mix of professional players and content creators to have a competitive team that was still a lot of fun.
The team’s goal is to give something back to the e-sports scene in Europe.
Most of what we will do as a team should take place in public, assures the streamer.
Everyone on the team is friends, they want to have a fresh face on the team: That will be jungler Velja. Caedrel thinks highly of him and believes he has the potential to play in the LEC professional league soon.
He also addresses what many people say: TheBausFFS doesn’t cut it in the professional game. Caedrel smiles, we’ll see, there will certainly be some changes, but he doesn’t want to bend the players either.
Where will the team compete? From what we know, Los Ratones will compete in the Northern European League NCL. But it’s not entirely certain yet, as Caedrel says. We’re looking at different leagues at the moment. In the long term, they actually seem to be aiming for the LEC.
In the NCL, the league for the UK and Scandinavia, they could actually meet their German brothers in spirit, as the team’s German counterpart, the influencer group NNO, has loudly considered leaving the Prime League and moving to the island : LoL: Team of German Twitch streamers no longer want to play in Germany after trouble with the league
