What does the trailer show? Temples, motorcycles and a bow. The new trailer brings everything you probably expect from Tomb Raider. The story of the anime picks up after the newer Tomb Raider trilogy and follows the younger Lara Croft on new adventures.

In the trailer you can see the archaeologist in various situations. It is clear that there is a lot of action waiting for you in the anime. There is a temple full of lava or jumps from an airplane, into deep ravines or from a moving motorcycle. Just the typical action that we are used to from the young woman.

What are the reactions? The images alone should make every Tomb Raider fan want more. In the comments under the trailer (via YouTube), however, fans particularly praise the English dubbing of Lara.

Although the trailer doesn’t yet provide any information about the German dubbing, perhaps Lara’s English voice could simply convince you to watch the anime in this version. She is voiced by actress Hayley Attwel. She is known, among other things, for her role in the MCU as Peggy Carter.

For many fans, this seems to have been exactly the right choice. “Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft – that’s the perfect voice,” writes one user in his comment. In fact, it seems as though every second comment praises the casting and describes the actress as the perfect voice for Lara Croft.

In the trailer itself, you don’t even hear much about her work as Lara. At least, she doesn’t give any spoken words. Nevertheless, fans seem more than sure that her voice is perfect. It might be worth taking a look at the English version in October to see for yourself.
