“I think it’s really cool that children – who actually only know the Cathedral with scaffolding – are now going to use the last block of stone,” says responsible councilor Dennis de Vries. The students are in group 8 at Pieterskerkhof primary school, which is located behind the Cathedral. “From now on, they can enjoy a scaffolding-free, radiant Cathedral for another fifty years.”
