SVT meets Sverker Edentag when he visits the popular excursion area.
– We are often on Tibrandshögen and look at the view and now we have the grandchildren here, he says.
By helicopter, gravel and soil will be transported to be used to repair the damage. When the work is carried out, the road to the reserve and Tibrandshögen will be closed. At present, the work is planned for week 31, but what exactly day it will be is not yet clear.
The Tibrandshögen is an ancient monument and protected by law and a very popular excursion destination, so popular that the ground has been subjected to severe wear and tear. Among other things, this has led to a stop for cycling at the ancient monument, and repairs also need to be carried out.
– We have to repair the damage that is there and now there was a situation to perform the work so we take care, says Eva Karlsson, antiquarian at the county administrative board in Jämtland.
