Patrizia Cormos, her friend Bianca Doros and her boyfriend Cristian Molnar went to Premariacco Beach near Udine, Italy, on Friday. However, the flood that affected the country cost the lives of all three friends.
THEY WENT FOR A TRAVEL AFTER THE RAIN
According to the details provided by The Mirror; The trio of Patrizia Cormos (20), Bianca Doros (23) and Bianca’s boyfriend Cristian Molnar (25) took a stroll by the river after days of heavy rain. The trio was last seen by the Natisone River near Udine.
THEY HUGED EACH OTHER TIGHTLY
Moments emerged when the friends hugged each other tightly in the flooded water. While rescue teams were dispatched to the area, the trio were seen desperately holding on to each other on a small islet in the river. Minutes after the heart-shaking moments, Patrizia, Bianca Cristian succumbed to the violence of the water.
SOS CALLED
Patrizia’s phone, later found in her bag in the riverbed, revealed that the trio had made an SOS call at around 11.35am.
“THEY DISAPPEARED BEFORE OUR EYES”
Giorgio Basile, the provincial fire chief in Udine, stated that they threw ropes to the three friends to hold on and said, “But the flood waters literally swallowed them, they disappeared before our eyes.”
LIFELESS BODIES OF TWO WERE FOUND
The bodies of two of the friends were found 1 kilometer away from the scene. The search for the other person continues.
