The test: That’s how bad it goes when a moped collides

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

With the rapid increase in A-tractors and mopeds, the Norwegian Road and Transport Research Institute now has two projects where they crash test them.

According to surveys of young drivers, only 40 percent always use seat belts in A-tractors, compared to mopeds where 80 percent use them. It is also not a law that drivers of A-tractors must wear a seat belt.

And the research institute’s tests show that even slow-moving vehicles can have devastating consequences when the passenger is not wearing a seat belt.
