The extreme Islamic terrorist organization Isis says it is behind the knife attack in the city of Solingen in Germany. The claim has not been independently verified.
Three people died and at least eight were injured in the attack.
German authorities said earlier on Saturday that the attacker had not been identified or caught. According to the authorities, a terrorist motive has not been ruled out.
