There is yet another new doping case in the tennis world. On Thursday, it was reported that the tennis ethics monitoring body (ITIA) has appointed a top Polish name By Iga Swiatek to a one-month suspension from competition.
The five-time grand slam winner’s doping test found a banned heart medication called trimetazidine. According to ITIA, Swiatek had said that he was using melatonin for his sleep problems.
Swiatek said in his press release that he had “never” heard of the medicine in question. According to the Pole, he has been subject to ITIA’s strict methods for two and a half months.

– I lost many nights. I couldn’t sleep because I was suffering from anxiety and thinking about questions that I couldn’t find answers to.
