The tenant from hell – put explosives in the front door

The tenant from hell put explosives in the front

The 30-year-old tenant got his apartment seven years ago from Lund municipality, which Home & Rent was the first to report on.

The accommodation is a one-room apartment with a kitchenette which he initially rented as a second-hand, but then had to take over as a first-hand contract.

But the good relationship between tenant and landlord did not last long. The man stopped paying the rent and the landlord believes today that the apartment was barely furnished but rather used to commit crimes.

Landlord: Mismanagement of the apartment

For Hem & Hyra, the landlord tells us that the man is currently in prison and instead an unknown man lives in the apartment. The host now wants to evict both the tenant and the unknown man who lives there now.

On his side, the host has a long list of reasons that should be enough to terminate the contract with the 30-year-old.

There is, for example, photographic evidence that the home has been mismanaged, as it is both dirty and messy. The images also show plastered spaces with fans and plant nutrients that are suspected to have played a role in the tenant’s cannabis cultivation.

In addition, the rents are not paid at all.

The landlord has also submitted several of the man’s district court judgments. Among other things, he has been convicted of drug offences, threatening an official and weapons offences.

He has also been convicted of detonating the inside of his own door with explosives – something that could have led to serious injury if someone had entered the flat.
