But the best thing about chicken is that you can prepare it in so many shapes. We’ve put together three recipes that are unanimously popular, easy to prepare and inexpensive. Prepare to salivate!
Breaded Chicken with Butter and Lemon
This recipe starts with three small chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and black pepper. Mix six tablespoons of unsalted butter at room temperature with a large clove of crushed garlic, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Stuff each breast with a tablespoon of this butter mixture.
Next, coat the chicken in flour, shaking off the excess, dip it in two beaten eggs, and finally in two cups of bread crumbs. Fry the chicken in a large skillet with hot oil until golden brown on each side, about 4 to 5 minutes. The result ? Juicy and crispy chicken, enjoyed with a garnish of fresh parsley.
Chicken with Mushrooms and Cream
For this delicious second recipe, start by heating a pan with two tablespoons of olive oil. Add 700g chicken thighs and fry until golden brown. Remove the chicken, then brown 300 g of mushrooms and a yellow onion in the same pan. Add a clove of garlic, a teaspoon of flour, one of Dijon mustard, parsley and season. Return the chicken to the pan with a cup of chicken broth and a cup of cream. Let it simmer for a rich, creamy dish.
Potato Galette with Chicken and Gruyère
Finally, for an original touch, try the chicken potato pancake. Rinse and dry three potatoes, then mix them with two small eggs, a tablespoon of flour, salt, pepper, and a chopped chicken breast. In a pan with olive oil, add half of the mixture, cover with Gruyère, then add the rest of the mixture. Cover and cook over low heat. Flip the pancake after 10-12 minutes and cook for another 7 minutes.
Each of these recipes brings its own unique touch to the table, ensuring a delicious and satisfying meal.
