That’s it…The Train Expo “Saveurs & Santé” was inaugurated this Wednesday, October 5 and opened its doors to the public at the Gare de Lyon in Paris!
Launched by the SNCF and AG2R LA MONDIALE, this event responds to a major concern of the French: how to eat well to live better?
According to an Ipsos study, 7 years ago, only 52% said they were worried about the effects of food on their body. Today, this feeling has become widespread: we know that a good diet contributes to better health and therefore to a better quality of life as well as to longer life expectancy.
Putting flavor on your plate and taking care of your physical form are not incompatible. Quite the contrary! Tasting stews is both a source of pleasure for our taste buds and a benefit for our health capital. The Flavors & Health Trainwhich crosses France from October 5 to 23, 2016 through 17 stages, is a unique opportunity to learn how to reconcile the two with ease.
Climbing aboard the Train is a real journey through the senses and flavors. Researchers, artisans and local producers are our guides. Much more than an exhibition space, the Flavors & Health Train is a discovery destination. It offers to discover or rediscover, in a playful and educational spirit, the benefits of a diet “from the ground to the plate” on our organism.
Highlighting the exceptional French culinary heritage and the richness of the know-how of our regions, the Train is the unmissable event for gourmet vitality throughout France. Food professionals, guarantors of our knowledge of the culinary arts, will share the recipes and secrets of the flavors of French cuisine.
