Four men aged 20–35 have been arrested on suspicion of theft of expensive Audi RS4 and RS6 cars that were stolen in Båstad, Torekov and Halmstad during the summer. Several of the men are also believed to be involved in the theft of safes at Circle K in Båstad and a paint shop in Ängelholm, reports Laholm’s Newspaper.
Now the police believe that they may also be behind the safe heists that hit Systembolaget’s stores in southern Sweden during the summer. Cash and expensive drinks have been stolen from eleven System company stores, most recently in Laholm on July 30.
Prosecutor Sofia Seijsing confirms to the newspaper that they will be investigated for the break-ins against Systembolaget’s eleven stores.
– Now they have only been notified of a number of crimes, but the investigation may grow, says chamber prosecutor Sofia Seijsing to the newspaper and tells us that the quartet denies all criminal suspicions.
