The swimming hall’s serving can be extended – requests for alcohol

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

In December, the technology and leisure committee Säffle-Åmål decided to forward the case to the municipal council. They, in turn, must decide whether alcohol can be served in the relaxation area outside the swimming hall’s opening hours.

In the clip, Nina Andersson (M), vice-chairman of the Säffle-Åmål technology and leisure committee, talks about the wishes.

– Me and the moderates in Säffle think it’s a good idea to develop the concept in the relax. It should be in orderly forms and closed groups, says Nina Andersson, (M), vice-chairman of the Säffle-Åmål technology and leisure committee.

The Social Democrats and the Sweden Democrats reserved themselves against the decision.

– I don’t think it is urgent to serve alcohol and other things in a bathhouse. Alcohol in combination with water may not be so good, says Jimmy Jonasson, group leader for the Sweden Democrats in Säffle.

The matter has been prepared by the technology and leisure administration in consultation with the social administration and Dalsland’s alcohol and tobacco unit.
