The western link has become an expensive story. In order to be able to continue construction during the next year, more money is therefore needed.
Now the Swedish Transport Administration has decided to borrow money from regional and state funds that have already been included in the Västlänkspaket. But the internal loan will only cover the costs of the construction next year.
