“Birken was the last competition for me this year, due to illness I can’t participate in the last weekend. The rest of the team is working hard and will deliver,” writes the skiing talent on Instagram.
Alvar Myhlback received a dispensation to run the Vasaloppet – where the age limit is 19. The 17-year-old finished in eighth place.
The weekend’s Reistadløpet over 40 kilometers in Norwegian Setermoen-Bardufoss runs on Saturday starting at 10.00 for the ladies and 10.30 for the men.
On Sunday it is then time for the 70 kilometer race. The start for the men is at 09.00 and for the ladies at 09.05.
