In the premiere away against Como, the Turin team won with a whopping 6-0 – and got to see a Swedish 19-year-old deliver in his debut.
Evelina Duljan left the women’s league and Kristianstad this summer to play for Juventus. Admittedly, the midfielder didn’t get the chance from the start in the league opener, but once she was substituted in the 76th minute, she did it with honors as she set up the 6-0 goal ten minutes later.
Duljan dribbled beautifully past several defenders, advanced into the penalty area and hit a short pass towards the middle. In the end, after a tangled situation, Lineth Beerensteyn was able to make the final score 6–0.
National team defenders Linda Sembrant and Amanda Nildén started in the back line and played the entire match.
