The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Utah Hockey Club at home in the only game of the NHL night with goals 3–2. The Finns of Utah Olli Määtä (-1) and Matias Maccelli (+/- 0) remained without power points in the match.
Toronto’s power forward scored two goals in the fight Mitch Marner. He scored in the second period in less than five minutes.
For the Leafs, the win was the fourth in a row, and Marner’s performance in the four wins is four goals and four assists.

The Swedish star scored the 3–1 winning goal of the match William Nylanderfor whom the goal was already the 14th of the season. Nylander rose to shared fourth place with Colorado in the NHL’s goal exchange Mikko Rantanen with.
The top spot in the goal exchange is shared by Florida with 16 hits Sam Reinhart and Edmonton Leon Draisaitl. of Washington Alexander Ovechkin (15 goals) is third.
Toronto has won seven of its last eight games and moved up to third in the NHL’s Eastern Conference. The Leafs have played all of their last eight games without their superstar Auston Matthewswho is sidelined with an upper body injury.
The Toronto captain is expected to be fit to play as early as this week.
