A majority of the traders questioned in the survey have a more pessimistic view now than last spring of how the markets work. They also state that they take fewer risks, among other things due to increased volatility and poorer liquidity.
A majority of them answer that specifically the interest rate market works “very poorly”. Several cite poor liquidity and the Riksbank’s securities purchases as the main reasons for this.
The financial market survey is sent out by the Riksbank twice a year. The most recent was carried out during the end of September and the beginning of October.
