The Swedish Academy’s member and former permanent secretary Sture Allén has died, the family tells TT. He turned 93 years old.

Sture Allén was born in Gothenburg in 1928 and has been a member of the Swedish Academy since 1980. Between 1986 and 1999, he was the Academy’s Permanent Secretary.
