The SVT duo now say what they think of Stina Nilsson after the debut

Stina Nilsson has made her long-distance debut.
It was an immediate success with a third place.
Now the SVT duo Anders Blomquist and Jacob Hård give their honest words about the Swedish.

After four seasons as biathlete has Stina Nilsson saddled up for this winter. She has already made her debut in the new long-distance venture and it was an immediate success.

Stina’s successful start

Nilsson had to endure harsh criticism and mean words for several years as a biathlete. Now she wants to find the joy of skiing again and the new season started last weekend in Bad Gastein.

Then Stina managed to get off to a flying start at the Ski Classics with an impressive third place in the long race. It has raised her confidence considerably for the rest of the season.

Seasoned SVT duo Anders Blomquist and Jacob Hard has followed Stina Nilsson closely as an expert and commentator throughout her career. They know her well and now give their honest verdict on the Swede after her debut in the new skiing sport.

The duo about Nilsson

When the TV channel had a question and answer session with the viewers, they had to answer the question of whether the Swedish 31-year-old can win races at Ski Classics.
– Super interesting question and very difficult to answer. She has the potential to win a lot of races, but what we haven’t seen yet is how she sets the stakes in longer races. How does she manage to solve it? I have absolutely no good answer to that, but I think she learns quickly because she is a smart skater, says “Blomman” in the broadcast.

Both were also asked if Stina Nilsson can win the Vasaloppet, which is part of the Ski Classics season.
– Yes, she can absolutely do that. If she has learned and developed a lot in her stake ability. She was third in the Olympic three-mile in classic style, so it is clear that she has fantastic qualities, says Anders Blomquist in his analysis.
– But she needs to take many, many steps and I don’t know if she has done that yet. But in the long run, absolutely.

The skiing profiles want to give Stina patience and time before they can start demanding victories in long races.
– You have to remember that you might still have to give Stina a season to develop this very thing with staking and staking. While she has invested in biathlon, this particular thing with staking, not least on the women’s side, has developed enormously, says Jacob Hård.
– Really, it’s actually a bigger challenge for the ladies than for the men to find the right one, because you need to build muscles and you need to build hardness. The guys need it too but I think it’s an even bigger step for the ladies actually. But she is a unique sports personality, so I don’t think anything is impossible, says colleague Blomquist.
