In the United States, the 26-year-old man suspected of shooting the CEO of an insurance company has received federal charges for, among other things, murder.
The US Department of Justice says that if the man is found guilty, he could face life in prison or the death penalty.
The suspected crime happened in New York in early December, when the executive of the health insurance company UnitedHealthcare was shot dead.
The case has brought out widespread anger towards the US health care system, and outside the court the suspect was seen demonstrating to supporters.
