In terms of health, a fast-tracker who has had a hard time Nooralotta Neziri30, did not compete again in the ending athletics season after finishing third in the final of the Kaleva Games in Lahti with a time of 13.19 on July 29.
On Wednesday, the woman told about the changes in her coaching group. Cooperation Matti Vyyryläinen.
In the future, the athlete’s spouse is responsible for muscle care and partly for the coordination of characteristic training Ville-Matti Rantalabut a new sports coach Samir Demnati is a really interesting case. The 34-year-old sprinter from Ikaali athletes will participate in the SC relays this weekend in the same 4×100 meter quartet as the country’s number one sprinter Samuli Samuelsson. Demnat has a long career behind him at the national level, which will continue into next season.
Demnati lives in Pori and works as the business director of a barbershop franchise chain. He has coached young athletes in the area and already knows Nezir. However, the request to join the coaching team came as a complete surprise.
“Are you sure?”
– I had to ask Nooralota if you are absolutely sure now? I believe that the good boogie of my own coaching group has also been seen externally, Demnati tells Urheilu.
The man’s background is extraordinary. In 2021, Demnati participated in Nelonen’s popular Big Brother program. Among the people with a track and field background, the Olympic representative of the javelin throw also lived in the house Sanni Utriainen.
– Big Brother offered an escape route from the squirrel wheel. At the end of a good training period, I had worn out my legs before the competition season and I wanted something completely different. Maybe it wouldn’t have occurred to everyone to go there, says Demnati, who ran the 100 in the best time of 10.88.
In his coaching, he focuses on technique, rhythm and keeping athletes healthy and fit for training. Rhythm is in the man’s blood, because next to sports, another passion is music. Demnati performs under the stage name Samir Kallio.
– I am a self-published artist, genre electronic pop. My songs have been listened to 1.6 million times on Spotify alone. I do gigs as much as I can. Sports and music complement each other, technique and rhythm are the most important.
Demnat also has a work background in the defense forces, both in music and pure military training.
– I was an instructor non-commissioned officer of the conscript band from 2009-2015. I sang and led a party band and trained a riflemans group for pattern marching performances. Outside of the call season, I worked as a military instructor.
Difficult 2.5 years
Neziri, who will start the basic training season next Monday, says that getting the team together was a great relief. For a moment, the woman planned to make her own programs, but withdrew from the idea. Although he was able to prepare for the season since mid-winter without pain in the heel bone operated on in August 2022, the results were not satisfactory. The sports training base was too thin.
The past 2.5 years have put the experienced athlete Kant in a difficult position. In the winter of 2021, Neziri twice broke the SE time of the 60-meter indoor fences and finished 4th in the EC final. However, a stress fracture in the back ended the outdoor track season already in June, and the dream of the second Olympic Games in his career died.
In autumn 2021, Neziri left Petteri Jousteen Austrian coach for training by Philipp Unfried to pull into the team. In the 2021-2022 season, however, the problems in the heel area became unbearable, and at the beginning of August 2022, the problem had to be operated on. The much-anticipated period was somewhat wasted, much to Nezir’s chagrin.
Neziri plans to compete in the already busy hall season, among other things, to collect points for the Olympic ranking for next summer. The result limit for the June EC Games in Rome is 12.98, for the Olympic Games in Paris starting at the end of July, 12.77. The first mentioned should not cause problems for Nezir, who ran 12.81 (2016) at his best.
– Or if it produces, then it’s probably useless to talk about the Olympic Games, Neziri laughs.
– My coaching changes after the 2017 season have not contained any drama, says Neziri.
That summer, Neziri began to experience a strong lack of trust in his long-time coach Jussi Ihamäkä towards, and the cooperation ended in the middle of the season. Neziri moved to Jyväskylä with her husband and mother and joined for years Petteri Jousteen to the coaching team.
Moving in an extreme situation
In this situation, Neziri primarily wanted to stay and train in Pori, where the supply of coaches is not endless.
– In an extreme situation, I would have been ready to move. But on the other hand, for example Lotta (Harala) and Retta (Pious) have had great success training right at home in Tampere.
Nezir’s relationship with Philipp Unfried has remained good. At the end of the year, he will probably head to the same camp site with Harala, where the Austrian’s group is then training.
One question mark in terms of career continuation has been funding. Neziri broke the time limit of the sports association’s top team, or Team Finland, this season as well, and through that gets resources for training. But the competition fees and success bonuses remained much lower than in the successful seasons, and the woman in the next division does not meet the criteria for the tax-free athlete grant from the Ministry of Education either.
– I am immensely grateful to my commercial partners. They have stayed the course, even though my success from spring 2021 onwards has not always raised cheers.
Sanoma was the first to report on Nezir’s new background line-up.
