The supporter’s heartwarming gesture during the SHL match – which is now celebrated throughout hockey Sweden: “Fantastic”

Rögle lost against HV71 on Thursday evening.
But after the match, it is still an away supporter who is praised for his fine gesture.
“So it should be in the stands,” writes an SHL fan about the action on social media.

HV71 now has three straight wins at home, after Thursday night’s victory against Rögle with 4-0. The away team is doing worse, Rögle now has five straight away losses. However, they are still above HV71 in the table – Rögle is in tenth place and HV is second jumbo five points ahead of IK Oskarshamn.

The gesture of the Rögle fan

Despite the loss, it was a Rögle supporter who was praised the most after the match.

Just over five minutes into the second period, the Rögle back arrived Samuel Johnson and the HV71 striker Henrik Borgström in a duel for the puck. None of the players got the puck, but it went up into the stands, and was caught by the Rögle supporter.

But instead of keeping the puck, the green-clad supporter can then be seen giving it away to a boy wearing an HV71 shirt, in the clip shown below.

The gesture from the support was praised by the commentator.
– Ah, nice, gives it away to a younger ability. Look at that joy! The best thing there is, perhaps, to please others. Brilliant grandstand entertainment, is worthy of all applause, he says.
