The Superstitious Traveler – Quest solution

In the Hawezar area in Diablo 4, you can find a side quest called “The Superstitious Traveler” / “Traveler’s Superstition”. In this guide there is location and solution.

How do I get the quest “The Superstitious Traveler”? To get the side quest, you must first interact with a note. Conveniently, it’s right where you need to continue the quest – on the right edge of the map in the Blight Delta in the Hawezar area.

It is therefore not necessary to go to another location, such as in the quest “The Pilgrim’s Trail”.

Where can I find the note? To get to the note and the quest location at the same time, you can either walk/ride south from the Whispering Tree waypoint or north from the Hocktail waypoint.

Once you’ve clicked and read the note, you’ll be asked to interact with the statue of the travelers standing there on a shipwreck.

The note is in the circle – for general orientation we recommend the interactive map

How do I solve the quest “The Superstitious Traveler“? To complete the quest, you must use an emote similar to the quest “Renounce the Mother”.

This time, you need to stand in front of the statue and perform the Hello emote. If you can’t find this emote in your emote wheel, see how to customize it below.

Once you’ve performed the emote, a box containing loot will appear. By opening this you complete the side quest.

How to use and switch emotes? Here are the buttons for the mouse, keyboard and controller:

  • Keyboard: Opens the emote menu with “E”
  • Use the mouse wheel to switch emote tabs
  • Controller: Opens the emote menu with D-pad up
  • Use L1/R1 or LB/RB to switch emote tabs
  • While in the Emote menu, press Triangle or Y on your controller, or use your mouse to select Adjust. In this menu you can exchange your emotes:

What do emotes do? With the help of emotes it is possible to communicate with other players in Diablo 4. In addition, you can interact with various shrines to receive certain bonuses.

If you have any questions about the emotes or the quest, leave a comment. You are also welcome to suggest other ideas for guides.
