Stefan Holm has been reported to the police for suspected abuse of a student.
Now the student’s mother breaks the silence about what has happened.
– We have been hit hard by this, she says to the newspaper NWT.
The former high jumper Stefan Holm recently joined as a substitute teacher at the English school. But already during the first day he was forced to stop because of a high-profile incident that has received a lot of space in the news media in recent days.

Holm acted towards a student in a way that has been reported to the police for suspected assault.
“Then it overflows for me and I grab his upper arms and more or less carry him across the classroom and sit him alone at the front of a bench,” he describes what has happened.

Since then, the tributes to Stefan Holm have poured in on social media. Because he acted correctly and did what needed to be done when there is chaos in a classroom.
Mother’s words
Now the student’s mother breaks the silence about what has happened and eases her heart after seeing everything written in the comments section.
– I really wanted to write, but I couldn’t. We have been greatly affected by this. We haven’t done anything. We are victims in this, she tells the local newspaper NWT.
– That everyone agrees with him. He has admitted himself what he did. If an adult had done that to their own children, social security would have taken them away!

The mother thinks that what Holm did was the wrong approach and that he should instead have fetched another teacher or a recess guard when the situation deteriorated. According to her, the son has never argued with a teacher before.
– No, it’s the first time. I really wish people could empathize with our situation. What would they do if it were their children or grandchildren. We are talking about a child, not an adult, he is a huge boy!, she says in the interview.
– He was very sad and very scared.

Stefan Holm does not want to give any comment to the local newspaper and admits that he cannot bear to talk more about what has happened. Previously, he announced that he resigned from his position as a substitute teacher and that his first day was also his last.
