The clock is ticking for SAS and the pilot unions, whose negotiations have now entered the last day. The new deadline expires at twelve o’clock on Saturday night.
At the same time, the Norwegian SAS pilot association says that it is prepared to let the airline go bankrupt if necessary.
“Not properly surviving”
– Yes, undoubtedly. If the company is unable to relate to the Scandinavian model, we believe that it is an actor that does not have the right to survive, says Roger Klokset, leader of the union Norske SAS-flygeres forening (NSF) to Norwegian VG.
To TV4 Nyheterna, neither party wants to comment on Friday morning on how the negotiations are going. If they do not agree, 900 SAS pilots are expected to go on strike from midnight.
