If a series concept is successful, why not repeat the success in another culture? Netflix has copied and re-released several hit series in other national settings in recent years. In the end the idea worked. Class, an Indian series modeled after Elite, is now being renewed for a second season.
Netflix’s elite clone Class is doing well in the domestic market
As in the Spanish model, Class revolves around a group of young people at an elite school who stir up the privileged atmosphere due to their poor origins. But soon the newcomers are confronted with a brutal act of violence.

As Netflix has now announced with a short teaser, the intrigue game will soon go into a second round. According to a report by What’s On Netflix was the first season very successful, especially in the cultural home market of India, as well as in Bangladesh and Pakistan.
When is Season 2 of Class coming to Netflix?
As the short Season 2 announcement teaser shows, it’s for the new episodes no start date known yet. At the current level of production, we expect supplies to be available by mid-2024.
