A streamer who only plays a single shooter, which otherwise attracts little interest, is extremely successful on Twitch.
Who is the person you are talking about?
What’s special about Jynxzi – besides his shouting – is that he mainly plays a shooter, which otherwise attracts little interest on Twitch.
What shooter does he play? Jynxzi primarily plays Ubisoft’s tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege, in which two teams of five players each compete against each other. They either try to place a bomb, prevent it from being placed, or completely eliminate the opposing team.
Rainbow Six: Siege is characterized above all by the variety of tactical options that arise from the various playable characters, called operators, their weapons, gadgets and skills as well as the structure of the maps.
Unlike most successful “Rainbow Six: Siege” streamers and e-athletes, Jynxzi does not play on the PC, but on an Xbox.
Does he stream other games? Other games like Fortnite or EA FC are rarely seen and are only an exception. As a rule, Jynxzi only plays Rainbow Six: Siege.
For comparison:
The American also hardly streams the “Just Chatting” category at all. In the past 90 days it has only been 5.5 hours (as of November 20, 2023, via Sullygnome)
That’s why his success is so special: The fact that Jynxzi herself is reaching over 30,000 viewers in Rainbow Six: Siege is impressive. Over 30,000 viewers would also be a strong figure in other games, but Ubisoft’s shooter attracts little interest on Twitch.
With an average of 16,951 viewers (over the past 90 days), Rainbow: Six Siege ranks just 25th in average viewership on Twitch (via Sullygnome).
Without Jynxzi, the value of the shooter would probably look much worse. Other streamers like Beaulo, RazaH or MacieJay, who also regularly stream Rainbow Six: Siege, don’t even have an average of 2,000 viewers – and are still among the game’s biggest content creators. Jynxzi boosts the viewership of the title enormously.
Rainbow Six: Siege will be getting a feature in the coming season that will allow you to trade your skins:
Shooter gets the feature from Counter-Strike 2 that caused Valve a lot of trouble and even more money
