By far the most prolific publisher of recent years, Microids has just announced a new game, yes another. This is the adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel, Murder on the Orient Express, which has been modernized and even revisited at the plot level. Indeed, we have learned that the story will not take place in the 1930s, but nowadays, in 2023! It is developed by Microids Studio Lyon for a release set for the 4th quarter on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and of course Nintendo Switch, the lead console at Microids. The publisher also announces in its press release that this revised version of Murder on the Orient Express will surprise even people who know the novel by heart.
For those who do not know one of the major works of literature and writings of Agatha Christie, know that the story will resume the original, with this crime committed on board the Orient Express. Hercule Poirot, during this trip, turns out to be surrounded by a group of singular characters, all suspects, each with their own secrets and motivations, and will then try to elucidate the murder that has just taken place. Solving this mystery will not be easy and through many twists and turns, players will have to use their little gray cells as well as their detective skills to disentangle the true from the false and bring to light the truth.
