Stedin itself stated on X that it is happy with the investment. “A huge boost for the energy transition in Utrecht, Zeeland and South Holland,” the company writes. “With the €500 million in additional capital from the government, we can continue with the much-needed investments, i.e. extra distribution stations, transformer houses and cables.”
