The stars’ nice words about Stina Nilsson – Norway is now showing its support after tough times: “It’s shameful”

Stina Nilsson has reported to the police and fought against false articles about her.
Now she is supported in Norway.
– It’s sad, says star Karoline Knotten.

This weekend, Stina Nilsson was finally back in the World Cup again, after being poked for large parts of the season. But the big comeback was miserable. She had a total of nine misses and finished 78th, and afterwards she was open about how disappointed she was.

Now supported in Norway

But at the same time that Nilsson had a tough time sportingly during the winter, she has also fought another battle alongside biathlon. In early February, Nilsson published a post on Instagram, where she announced that she had reported false articles about her to the police. On social media, articles have come out where her face has been cropped in, in order to trick Swedes into giving away money. Several other Swedish celebrities have been affected, and Nilsson urged everyone to report the articles if they saw them in the feed.

In connection with Nilsson’s comeback in the World Cup, she spoke again about the police report, and how the case “went quite well”. Now Nilsson is also supported by the stars in Norway.

– It’s really sad to hear that people can invent things like this. And it’s sad that it goes so far that you have to report it to the police, says Ida Lien to Nettavisen.

“It’s shameful”

She is also supported by Karoline Knotten, who gives her full support to Nilsson.

– I think it’s shameful. She is subjected to something that is completely unfair. It would be great if they find out who is doing it, and catch someone so it can be stopped, she says, and continues:

– I don’t understand what you get out of spreading false things. It is a shame that someone wants others to hurt.

Even Juni Arnekleiv reacts strongly to Nilsson’s struggle.

– Regardless of what is posted, it is sad if there is something that is not correct. Things you have nothing to do with, you shouldn’t get involved in, I think, she says.
