After two seasons abroad, the Slovak is about to be without a club. As Swiss site Watson reports that Cehlarik’s contract with big club EV Zug will be terminated with immediate effect.

According to the information, it is Zug’s initiative to get rid of the 27-year-old and terminate the contract early. The forward has a contract with the club for another year but is now expected to be fired.

He did one season in Leksand in 2020/21 and quickly became a crowd favorite. That season was a great success in the scoring record and a nice 40 points in 45 games in the SHL.
