In the current chaos at Arlanda Airport, the mood among passengers has become very irritated – and in some cases even aggressive. The SAS staff at check-in testify that they are exposed to verbal and physical attacks, writes Kollega.

Martin Johanssonchairman of SAS Tjänstemannaförening Terminal, tells about the situation for the union’s newspaper.
– The vast majority of travelers have incredible patience and understand that we are working on it as soon as we can. But sometimes things get out of hand with verbal and physical threats, such as “I know your name and where you live and you should regret this”.
He says they understand that many travelers are stressed.
– But there are also those who spit and scream and tear clothes and uniforms.
Johansson believes that the staff reached a maximum during the past weekend, and the situation is extremely stressful for the employees.
The kitchen chaos at Arlanda: Then it’s the worst – and then it can end
The forecast is that the chaos at Arlanda is expected to continue throughout the summer. The worst time is early in the morning, between 03 and 08, according to Martin Johansson. Then it usually calms down between 15 and 20.
– And now it has been said that we can possibly be in a race only in September or October. We will see if any employees are still on their feet then, Johansson says Colleague.
